Welcome to New Walk Church
Our Story
New Walk Christian Church held its first Sunday worship service on March 6, 2005, with a vision to create a place of worship where all people could experience the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
For the first nine years, our congregation gathered at the Masonic Temple Hall in Kent, Washington. In August 2014, God led us to SeaTac/Des Moines, and in September 2017, He opened the doors to a new home in Burien. This location became affectionately known as A House of Refuge, the home of Praisealujah Discipleship and, of course, New Walk Christian Church.
Since our humble beginnings, God has faithfully grown our church through the dedication of our members, volunteers, and the support of our community. On April 1, 2023, God opened yet another door as we began holding worship services at Burien Community Church.
As we look back on our journey, we are grateful for God's faithfulness and remain committed to sharing His love, serving our community, and helping people grow in their relationship with Christ.
