About Our Church

New Walk Christian Church had its First Sunday service March 6th 2005. 

It is a place of worship for all of God's people. Our services were held at the Masonic Temple Hall in Kent, WA for 9 years, August 2014 we moved to SeaTac/DesMoines. September 2017 God opened the doors in Burien. It was affectionately called  A House of Refuge.

New Walk Christian Church. 

We've consistently grown since our humble beginning. 

All thanks to the helping hands of some wonderful people and this amazing community. On April 1st 2023 God made another move for HIS Church. We began services at Burien Community Church in Burien. 

He definitely is a wonder.

• Revive The Word of God                                          to those who have fallen away 
• Renew The Word of God                                                         to those who walk with him daily. 

We focus on making  an positive effort for our community by feeding the soul and the spirit.  

Our members, partners and  volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change.

Children are such a blessing to have and to be around. The ages vary from 18 months to 14 years old. Visiting youth are always welcome.  Members Interested in helping with this ministry  are encouraged to meet with the Youth Leadership. 

Church in The Park was established on Youth Sunday (2nd Sunday) in March 2005. Every year the worship service is at a nearby community park. This annual event is followed with our Bar-B-Cue fellowship meal, music, games, baptisms, free items and more.                                                                     Our fellowship is open to the community.  

Bible study is an very informative class.  The atmosphere is relaxed and designed for questions on or off the subject. Everyone is welcome, important and loved. 

Our community toys and things give away is free to those in need. Our goal is to make sure as many kids have a bright smile on Christmas morning. We strive to help relieve the stress parents carry during this time of year. 

We need donations for all ages and accept them anytime of the year. You may drop them off at the church office. Thank you
